Description
Astm A403 904l is a non-stabilized austenitic stainless steel with a low carbon content. Copper is added to strengthen its resistance to strong reducing acids like sulphuric acid. Nonmagnetic SS 904L has high formability, weldability, and durability. High concentrations of pricey components, such as nickel and molybdenum, are present in astm a403 wp904l. It is resistant to both warm seawater and chloride damage.
Because of the considerable amount of nickel in its composition, it is very resistant to stress corrosion cracking. Copper in ASTM B366 UNS N08904 develops resistance to sulphuric acid and other reducing agents in both mild and harsh environments. SS 904l elbows are used to change the flow direction. Because of the high demand in plumbing, it is often available in two angles: 90 and 45 degrees. The 45 degree elbow is used in water supply facilities, food, air-conditioning pipelines, solar-energy facilities, garden production, and agriculture, while the 90 degree elbow links hoses to water valves, pumps, and deck drains.
